Data Culture Club: A Festive London Special
- Tuesday, 2 December 2025
- Williamson's Tavern, City of London
- 5.30pm - 9.00pm

The Data Culture Club brings together pioneering professionals across the world who are shaping their organisations’ attitude to data. In a discipline that is relatively new, it gives members an opportunity to explore new ideas, share insights, and support one another on what can be a challenging journey. We believe the key to developing best practice is simple: sharing what we know.
Our quarterly London events allow us to get together in person to hear fresh perspectives from industry leaders, engage in open discussions and enjoy some convivial networking. For our December event we’ll be in a lovely historic pub in the City of London for a more relaxed social evening. We look forward to bringing together everyone who’s been part of our community this year!
Williamson’s Tavern is wonderful historic pub that dates back to the 17th Century, not long after the Great Fire of London, and stands on a site that was a residence for the Lord Mayors of London. We’ll have our own private bar downstairs in the newly renovated Martha’s Cellar.

In our work helping organisations with their data, we meet many pioneering people – but we reckon those who focus on Data Culture deserve a little extra support and encouragement!
It’s still an evolving discipline: everyone seems to have a slightly different definition of what Data Culture means, it doesn’t feature much in industry best practice, and many companies don’t yet have dedicated teams to drive it forward.
So in 2024 we created an exclusive community online to bring together Data Culture professionals who are leading the way in changing their organisation’s attitude to data (whether they have ‘culture’ in their job title or not), to discuss the latest developments, ask questions and offer advice.
We’ve got members in the group from all over the world, but we always wanted to get people together in person where practical, so we’ve started holding roundtable events in London once a quarter.
We had our first get-together in October 2024, with about 20 of us meeting up in a smart bar overlooking the Thames where we discussed the nature of ‘culture’, and how AI might affect it.
In February 2025 we held our second event in an old Livery Hall in the City of London, with Steve and Selena helping us think about Data Literacy programs, and how best to engage with People/HR teams.
Our third outing was at the beautiful Old Sessions House in Clerkenwell in June 2025, where Josh & Tiffany guided us through AI Literacy, and Carly had us debating Data Culture skills.
We held our fourth meetup in September 2025 at The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe, and inspired by our venue we took a theme for the evening of Storytelling. A Fireside Chat with guests Andy and Susanne sparked a roundtable discussion about how best to approach the practicalities.
They’ve all been wonderful evenings full of warmth and laughter, with fascinating insights shared in both the discussions and the informal conversations in the breaks, and a great mix of perspectives from different organisations and industries. We look forward to the next one!
