Mark McQueen, Managing Partner and Head of North America at Ortecha, has joined the EDM Association Board of Directors, marking another milestone in a relationship spanning more than a decade of collaboration on data management standards and industry best practices.
The EDM Association (formerly EDM Council) announced its newest Board members on 20 October 2026, bringing together senior leaders from across data, AI, technology and financial services.
For Ortecha, Mark’s appointment reflects a longstanding commitment to advancing data management practices and helping organisations turn industry knowledge into meaningful business outcomes.
More than a decade of shaping data management standards
Ortecha’s relationship with the Association dates back to 2015, when the firm became a DCAM partner.
Mark’s own involvement began while leading data management within a global bank, where he saw first-hand how the Data Management Capability Assessment Model® (DCAM) could help organisations establish consistent, measurable data management practices.
He went on to serve as DCAM Product Manager and leading the working group responsible for DCAM v2. His work with the Association also extended to the Cloud Data Management Capabilities (CDMC) framework.
Today, Ortecha is one of only two Diamond Certified Partners of the EDM Association and a founding partner of its Data Excellence Program.
These milestones reflect years of collaboration, shared expertise and a commitment to improving how organisations manage and use their data.
