Users contacting Ortecha do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Every effort has been made to ensure a safe and secure form to email submission process but advise users using such form to email processes that they do so at their own risk.
Ortecha uses any information submitted by you to provide you with further information about the products / services we offer or to assist you in answering any questions or queries you may have submitted. This includes using your details to subscribe you to any email newsletter program the website operates but only if this was made clear to you and your express permission was granted when submitting any form to email process. Or whereby you, the consumer, have previously purchased from or enquired about purchasing from Ortecha a product or service that the email newsletter relates to. If applying for an position you may be required to submit your job history and background details to a third party job verification processor so that your employment history and references can be checked and verified. The Background Checking service is fully compliant with the GDPR regulations. If you meet the position requirements and have passed internal interviews Ortecha will submit your email address to the processor, from there to proceed further in the verification process you must authorise the background checking company to process your details in order to complete the verification process.
When submitting information regarding positions advertised to Ortecha for processing it processes the information based off legitimate interests. All submitted information will be retained for a four (4) years, so that if another position opens up and is appropriate for the company or individual we may reach out electronically to see if they are interested. All such correspondence will be accompanied with this privacy notice and a notice indicating their right to object to processing and right of erasure.
Ortecha firmly believes in privacy by design, and only requests and requires the minimal personal data necessary when processing requests. As such Ortecha respects all of the individual data rights as outlined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
